The firm was established in 1987, after several years of market research and planning, to provide quality equipment management related services to banks and leasing companies. In addition to equipment management related services, we provide placement of equipment financing packages.
Our emphases are in the areas of equipment inspections, valuation, recovery & remarketing and residual analysis. We provide future value estimates and complete analysis of collateral markets and values supporting lender portfolios.
AMA represents excess of 200 years of equipment experience. We utilize the expertise of AMA Associates located throughout the country (see below), to provide clients with specific solutions to a broad array of equipment, collections, account servicing, recovery and remarketing requirements.
Our associate relationships represent a cross-section of machinery & equipment backgrounds, recognized under senior ASA designations. For 16 years, we have been a member of the United Association of Equipment Leasing (UAEL) and maintains contact with numerous professional organizations.
We provide a full range of equipment appraisal and residual analysis services. Assignments are performed on either a Desk-Top or Full-Audit basis under ASA standards. Quotations are submitted prior to starting work. Inspection services include photographs, if requested, serial number verification, condition reports and general comments regarding the site and any discrepancies.
We are also capable in the areas of recovery, storage and/or the remarketing of most asset types. With a broad network of users and vendors, we are generally capable of moving equipment in an expeditious manner.
Additionally, we provide equipment management consulting services on an hourly or contract basis. Assignments in this area are related to review and recommendations -- collateral risk, future value analysis, disposition options, internal control functions and staffing requirements. Our services are tailored to address specific functions within the category of equipment management or to deal with the subject in it's entirety.
